Further informations about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. 1.Provide clinical primary care services as required by Southwest Medical Associates.2.Provide administrative/managerial direction and oversight to SMA p! rimary care providers which includes the following functions: a.Coordinate primary care resources to maximize efficiency and optimize patient care.b.Perform quarterly chart reviews on primary care team leads.c.Perform quarterly evaluations on primary care team leads for bonus purposes.d.Chair semi-monthly primary care meetings.e.Analyze performance metrics for primary care productivity, coding practices and quality indicators quarterly.f.Ensure timely submission of charges by all SMA primary care physicians and extenders.g.Coordinate any necessary disciplinary action in collaboration with the SMA Medical Director and Quality Medical Director. h.Maintain appropriate primary care staffing and provide oversight of primary care vacation and CME time.i.Attend monthly all pertinent meetings related to Primary Care operations and administration. j.Address any identified Quality Assurance issues with primary care providers and ascribe QA leveling points as required.k.Direct reports! include all SMA primary care physicians and extenders in the ! assigned division. The Primary Care Division Chief reports to the SMA Medical Director for Primary Care.Ability to obtain a Nevada License.
The Primary Care Team Lead must be a Board Certified Internist or Farmily Practice physician with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. This physician must be an excellent clinician who is widely respected for his/her work ethic and high quality of medical care.
