Customer Success Manager, Southeast Asia [Malaysia]


 

Role Summary
Improve customer adoption and engagement by partnering with their customers based on their key objectives. In collaboration with other teams, act as a trusted partner to help their customers achieve success by leveraging the full power of Elsevier solutions. The CSMs objectives are to increase value, retention, customer satisfaction and ultimately expand Elsevier's footprint.
The CSMs will help customers achieve success by:
  • Expanding customer relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Developing joint plans for strategic customer success.
  • Developing and delivering customer value improvement programs.
  • Developing expert knowledge of Elsevier’s applicable electronic products portfolio.
  • Monitoring customers progress.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role (preferably B2B).
  • Clinical background desirable.
  • Bachelor level education. Masters level education is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationship, navigate conflict and foster honest dialogue.
  • Ability to prioritise and to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment is required.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex business data.
  • This role requires at least 50% travel to customer meetings and internal/external events.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in local SEA language(s) is a plus.
