The Enterprise Services Communications and Creative Services team is looking for a forward-thinking Events Specialist with 3+ years of experience in event coordination, virtual moderating experience & in-person event support. This position requires cross-business collaboration with an eye for details and process management. Additionally, this position collaborates with other communicators, developers, designers, project managers and executives to deliver digital creative solutions.
The core responsibilities of the position include:
Create a best-in-class consumer experience focused on identifying, prioritizing, shaping events in partnership with the businesses, functions and/or programs.
Work independently as a trusted advisor for key consumers to support their long- term strategy and visions.
Translate company goals and consumer needs into powerful, engaging events.
See a project through from initial idea to flawless execution.
Advance the adoption of cutting-edge virtual & in-person event production and development practices across internal and external platforms.
Be able to apply event best practices to drive operational efficiencies.
Incorporate user experience principles and customer-first mindset into virtual & in-person events.
Partner with IT and use back-end technologies to bridge the gap between visual event and technical implementation.
Contribute to event documentation, organization, collaboration and best practices.
Experience in multi-site, multi-language, global event management
Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years-experience in virtual & in-person event production, content management.
BS/BA degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or years of experience.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Desired Skills:
Ideal candidate for this role will be confident, experienced, and skilled in event production, coordination;
Somebody who can multi-task for 100+ virtual events and 20+ in-person events a month.
Possessing excellent organizational, interpersonal and service excellence skills.
He/she/they will provide expert guidance and strategic counsel about event goals, planning, development and execution.
Required Education:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
No relocation assistance is available.
The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
