How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Job Description Summary: The Manager, Talent & Learning Development will be responsible for enhancing organizational effectiveness through leading and executing the learning and talent development strategies in support of the division objectives by implementing local and corporate strategies, policies, standards, practices, and programs. The individual will support retention, management development, and both workforce and succession planning needs for the division. The incumbent will work closely with the VP of HR as well as the Airgas Talent Management Center of Expertise to ensure there is a consistent and fully integrated talent strategy capable of building the talent required for our business now and in the future.
- Partner with the business and the Airgas L&D and Talent Management Centers of Excellence to create and implement the annual training plan within the division.
- Gather and analyze data to supply Corporate, as required, for preparation of company-wide Development Programs.
- Collaborate with business and HR teams to create and/or customize talent development content based on development strategies. Manage the design, development, deployment and evaluation of training solutions with internal resources and external vendors.
- Partner with the business to coordinate, create and deliver learning content, using a variety of delivery methods (virtual, in person, elearning).
- Facilitate and/or program manage a broad range of course work including but not limited to customer experience, new employee orientation, leadership development, on the job training (OJT), product and systems training.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communication, Business or related field.
- At least 5 years of direct Talent Management or Learning and Development experience in Human Resources.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel overnight or several days to various locations.
- Advanced knowledge of the Google Suite of products including Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience creating and maintaining development programs is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge or presentation and communication skills using visual aids, emails and other forms of deliverable presentation.
