The LAO HR Generalist is responsible to perform a variety of human resource activities that support key business initiatives in different areas. Reporting to the VP – Latin America of Operations and in partnership with HR Peers and business leaders this position supports HR strategies, processes, and programs to drive business objectives forward.
In this role, you will:
- Anticipate and provide a full range of extensive administrative services including meeting and travel arrangements, expense reporting, purchasing supplies, phone coverage, develop e-mail distribution lists, videoconference coordination and troubleshooting, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Able to create POs in SAP and other internal systems, coordinate with vendors, and service providers as needed.
- Organize events including workshops, Offsites events, onboardings, onsite support, team building activities and more.
- Prepares and compiles reports as requested.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new skills and adapt to new technology/processes and software.
- Desire to work as a true partner with executives and anticipate needs.
- Support key initiatives and operations of the LAO HR team.
- Build strong relationships and partnerships across the organization including but not limited to our HR COEs, and the HR community.
- Participate in LAO HR projects/initiatives as needed.
- Understand, oversee, and administer the HR LAO Budget, by using the system in a monthly basis to effectively check for expenses, plan forecasts and year budget, and provide required reports as needed.
The successful candidate will join the HR LAO team and report to VP of LAO.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or at least 5 years of work experience in Human Resources team.
- Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); must be able to use Outlook at an intermediate to expert level.
- Strong desire to learn/willing to be trained in HRIS system / Workday is required.
- Very strong organizational and time management skills to handle functional workload and multiple priorities.
- Able to manage sensitive issues in a confidential manner.
- Able to work effectively and cooperatively with others building productive relationships and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Works effectively with individuals of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, abilities, motivations, or backgrounds.
- Able to accurately produce a high volume of diversified work under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
