The Riverside County Information Technology (RCIT) department is seeking to fill an IT Support Services Technician in Riverside.
The candidate will ensure the warehouse's physical inventory matches with the appropriate database and when discrepancies occur use analytical skills to identify cause and resolve. Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages, monitor inventory management reports, maintain proper location of assets/asset tags, oversee introduction of new items into inventory and enter new items into inventory system. Identify obsolete inventory and determine how best to remove it. Responsibilities also include performing a variety of minor mechanical and maintenance work.
The department desires candidates with a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, highly detail oriented, organized and adamant about accuracy.
Competitive candidates will be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience with managing the flow of assets into and out-of warehouse inventory, which will include utilization of an inventory tracking system, fleet management experience and use of Service Now.
